-Magisk to handle root permissions.
-Some understanding of how Android works and how to use command-line tools.

Steps to follow:

1. Unlock the Bootloader: This step changes based on your device. You need to follow the maker's own instructions.
2. Install TWRP Recovery: Use a program like Fastboot to put the TWRP recovery image on your device.
3. Install Magisk: Put the Magisk ZIP file on your device through TWRP to get root access.
4. Download Kali NetHunter Image: Get the right NetHunter image for your device from the main Kali NetHunter website.
5. Flash Kali NetHunter: Start in TWRP recovery mode, clear the needed data, and put the Kali NetHunter image on your device.
6. Boot into Kali NetHunter: Restart your device. This starts up the Kali NetHunter environment.

Advantages: You get full access to the device's system giving you all NetHunter features.
Disadvantages: You need to root your device, which can make it less secure and might cancel your warranty.
 

Rootless Installation

Requirements:

An Android device with Android 7 or newer.
Termux app on your phone.

Steps:

1. Get Termux: Download Termux from the Google Play Store and set it up on your device.
2. Set up storage: In Termux, execute ‘termux-setup-storage’  to grant the app access to your device's storage.
3. Install needed packages: In Termux, type ‘pkg install wget’ to get the tools you need.
4. Download Kali NetHunter RootFS: Head to the official Kali NetHunter website and download the rootfs file.
5. Unpack/Extract and start Kali NetHunter: Check out the instructions that come with the rootfs file to unpack and boot up the NetHunter environment.

Advantages: You don't need root access, which cuts down on security risks and keeps your device warranty intact.
Disadvantages: The non-rooted version has fewer features than the rooted one because it can't access certain parts of the system.
